Hangeul 5 – The second set of Korean Consonants
These five consonants are in the second set of Korean consonants. They are very strong but no air. It is easy to make these sounds if you say with the very high tone.
10) ㄲ ‘gg’ : ‘k’ as in ‘ski’, ‘sky’
With the video, you can practice ‘까, 꺼, 꼬, 꾸, 끄, 끼, 께, 깨’
11) ㄸ ‘dd’ : ‘t’ as in ‘student’, ‘steam’
With the video, you can practice ‘따, 떠, 또, 뚜, 뜨, 띠, 떼, 때’
12) ㅃ ‘bb’: ‘p’ as in ‘spa’, ‘spirit’
With the video, you can practice ‘빠, 뻐, 뽀, 뿌, 쁘, 삐, 뻬, 빼’
13) ㅆ ‘ss’ : strong ‘s’ sound like ‘sad’, ‘similar’

14) ㅉ ‘jj’: strong ‘dg’ sound ‘judge’
