How to read price in Korean?

Read prices in Korean

As you know, we have two number sets in Korean. If you don’t know those two number sets, please go to this page to study them first.

When you read prices, you have to use Sino-Korean numbers which

** Notice
When we read 10(십), 100(백), 1000(천), 10000(만), 100000(십만), 1000000(백만), 10000000(천만) we don’t read  ‘일’ like blue color in the table. But like those 일억 and 일조, you should read 일.

The most important 3 numbers are 천/백/십 because there are repeated every 4 units. It is very easy to read if you split 4 numbers. For example, there is 1,11,111,111,111(천백십일억 천백십일만 천백십일).
